The open, free-spirited and minimalist universe of BLANCARRÉ is far more than just a watch brand. This independent creative space was founded by Nicolas Mertenat, creator and designer, who has a passion for contemporary art. He brings a different perspective to watch design, showcasing his experience and personal vision.

Nicolas Mertenat has collaborated for more than twenty years with major brands in Paris and Switzerland: Swatch, Ebel, Gucci, Boucheron, Fred Joaillier, Dior and Omega, where he was Design Department Manager from 2010 to 2015. He is also professor of watch design at the Geneva School of Art and Design (HEAD Genève).
